Pamela Anderson is PETA's Person of the Year

The organization on Friday recognized the former Baywatch star for helping to draw attention to animal rights issues by speaking to students at Oxford University and for posing for pictures with her body 'painted in butcher markings', doing commercials for the anti-fur campaigns.

She wore a sari, bindi, jhumkas and bangles, danced to Bollywood numbers along with Salman Khan and even grasped a few Hindi words during her 'Bigg Boss' stay.


"For years, Anderson has been penning letters and posing in ads for PETA UK's American affiliate in order to raise awareness of cruelty to animals and demonstrate how easy it is to avoid contributing to animal suffering," the Daily Express quoted.
